Maganari is a terrific place to get away from civilization for a few hours.(except for a couple of nice tavernas with WCs and showers). It is really three beaches with crystal clear turqouise water and white sand. It is easy to get in and out of the water (i.e., few rocks).

One of the beaches is named No Windy Beach which suggests that the others might get a little windy at times. Once a day the taverna gets a load of groceries off the small boats that come over from the port with a dozen sun lovers onboard.

If you go by road, be prepared to drive a 20 kilometer dirt and rock road of cutbacks through the mountains. Don't attempt it if it is especially wet or windy.
